Stiff neck sore throat and headache

Been on 12,5/11 mg for 2 weeks, started on 40 in March with gca Started with stiff neck sore throat and headache a couple of days ago so increased steroids back to 15 as I thought maybe a flare. Should I stay on 15 for a week before trying to go bk down? Head not settled yet but sore throat gone. Advice would be appreciated

I'd wait for another few days until all the symptoms have settled - then try 1mg at a time. You have been quite fast getting down to that since March so there really isn't a great hurry.

As PMRpro says, you've got to your dose quite quickly - maybe too quickly in the last couple of weeks.

Get stabilised, then reduce again - 1 mg a time, and make sure you feel okay at each level before you reduce again. Don't just go to the next reduction because the date on the calendar says so - reduce when your body says it's okay to!

Could just be a summer cold

Lots of people seem to have a sore throat and fill stuffy in their heads could just be this that's causing problems .

I was like it for a few days now sinuses playing up
