It could be in that some people are very very sensitive to the reduction of the dose they are used to and their body rebels. Have you tried spreading any even 1mg drop in dose over more than just a day? Use the search box at the top right to find my post on the "Dead slow and nearly stop" reduction plan.

It shouldn't be because your body isn't producing its own cortisol - that shouldn't apply until you are at more like 10mg and lower.

I too have been feeling incredibly tired this week after reducing by just 0.5mg from 15 to 14.5. A little better today, 6th day of reduced dose, so I will persist but daren't drop by more than O.5mg , even at this relatively high dose. But I have made it down from 30mg by this slow reduction without a flare. Fingers crossed!

Last week I had a relapse from reducing from 14 to 13 mg. The first sign was extreme fatigue. Much better now that I am back up to 17.5.
