Lost my balance once yesterday and twice today hubby was in the room so can not cover it up .in a lot of shoulder pain and head feels as if a tight band is round it passing in front of eyes.in fact this feeling is very like how I was for 2day before the GCA developed seeing GO on Friday wonder if I should call tomorrow morning

Yes - and if it gets worse in the meantime don't wait for an appointment, get your husband to take you to A&E and tell them your history since you have already been diagnosed with GCA. PMR can mess up balance too - your muscles and therefore your legs don't do what you want them to - I fell a lot in the early days.

And don't be put off tomorrow morning - insist on an emergency appointment with your usual doctor. Unless of course it is his day off - then just an emergency appointment.

My GPis great if very busy she will make time to call before lunch and get me shorted

Just like it is here and used to be in the UK - we had a GP like that once. When my husband had cancer he always called by when passing through the village to ask how we were even if we hadn't asked for a call. Lovely man!
