Book is now available in print form

Unfortunately at the moment we don't have a way for you to pay for it online. Please write to BM PMRGCAuk, London, WC1N 3XX, enclosing a cheque for £7.99 (which is £5.99 for the book plus £2 postage and packing) made payable to PMRGCAuk, with a note giving the delivery address. We'll get it posted out to you as quickly as we can, but please allow up to 10 days for delivery.

Hi there. I've found out that it would cost £5.50 sterling post and packaging, so a total of £11.50 or 21CAD. The price in $US would be $19.20.

The way that we could do this would be for you to send me an email to [e-mail]. Then I could send you a link to my paypal account. Would that be appropriate for you and other people across the pond?

We're working on it! In order to list it as a printed book item on Amazon it needs to have an ISBN. It takes some time for these to come through.

Hi again. If you buy the ebook from Amazon, they take a 30% cut, which any publisher would do, so fair does. So about £3 goes to PMRGCAuk. We priced the print copy so that of the £5.99, £2.99 covers the cost of printing and production, and £3 goes to PMRGCAuk. So it's the same. If we were to sell the print copy through Amazon, they would take a 75p cut, so only £2.25 would go to the charity. But on the plus side, those are sales that probably wouldn't be made otherwise. So what you lose on the swings you gain on the roundabouts. If anybody wants to order multiple copies (Jonny!), the book is small, only weighs just over 150gram, and a jiffy bag weighs almost nothing, so you can work out on the Royal Mail website how much the postage will be as a rough guide. royalmail.com/price-finder

Hi Kate, I would like to buy the book. What is the price in U.S. dollars, if I buy it from you, PMRGCAUK ? Understand what you are saying and I would like the proceeds to go directly to PMRGCAUK, for a continuing part of PMR and GCA communications, not Amazon.

Would like to buy it, but may have to wait until after the third of the month. Currently, I am on disability, which is a low income. Looking forward to reading the book. Great book Kate - really describes how it feels to have PMR. I would certainly think that all GPs should be reading and advertising it. Just one little point about the binding, I found that the pages weren't stuck in well and came out one by one as I turned them over. Has anyone else found this? Or did I just get one that had been made on a day the glue was a bit dry?

Mk14, yes my book must be from the same batch as your's as it is also sadly falling apart - it appears that it doesn't take kindly to being opened out fully.
