For anyone intending to come to the Surrey Support meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, 12th February, I have just received a telephone call from Runnymede Council saying that they have cancelled all meetings at our venue, Chertsey Hall, for the remainder of this week due to the very fast rate at which the water is rising in the area. The Hall is fortunately not at this time affected by the flooding but the Council have our safety in mind. At least with the cancellation by them, it means that our costs for hire of the Hall and equipment will be reimbursed. I’m very sorry about this as I know everyone was so looking forward to the presentation by Dr Hughes.
