We long for warmer weather, but when it comes, does it do any good for our symptoms? Do you feel better or worse in the hot weather?

Sunshine is so good for our VitD levels which we need so much of . I always feel better when the sky is blue and not cloudy, that alway's makes me feel like there is a big burden weighing me down.. I am struggling with the heat due to my exhaustion levels but I am willing to put up with it . Let's enjoy every moment of this wonderful weather. trish29

I have problems with keeping my VitD levels up too but my rheumy has put me on long term antibiotics as it helps and now I can't be in the sun as it reacts with the antibiotics! I give up!

Hot weather really makes the exhaustion much worse.

Hello m33ary , sorry you are having problems with your vit D levels and the heat.. It's been very hot today again and I think there is more to come over the weekend.. I didn't realise that the Medics can give patients antibiotics long term as I always thought the body needs a break from them..and particularly if you can't take the sun when you are on them? Do you give yourself a rest during your day to help the exhaustion? . I would never get through my day if I didn't have a couple of hours rest in the afternoon . No one knows what the exhaustion is like do they? Unless they are going through it themselves. I have a new Rheumatologist now and when I see my GP next Monday Afternoon I hope to start on 3 monthly injections..so I'm hoping things may improve.. I hope you feel better soon. Best wishes trish29

Hello all, now the weather has cooled down and I am in so much pain in the mornings. Is it the temperature or stress as that has been high the last fortnight. Just work out what I can cope with in the mornings and the rest has to be done afternoon and evenings. Just amazing the difference and ability levels. It would be ok I think if I did not have to go to bed. Keeping still is the enemy. I am thinking about some alternative complementary treatment. Any suggestions?
