Stopping clopidogrel safely—abruptly or gradual cessation?
Have any of you had experience with discontinuation of clopidogrel/
plavix
? Do you have any helpful suggestions for me about what to do? Thank you so much for your help!

Good Morning 🩷 new to the group....
I was then put on Apixaban (I was already on
Plavix
due to a stroke in 2013 at the age of 41, the stroke was an unknown cause). I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital January 30th because I had a pulmonary embolism.

Fatigue Three Months after 3 stents in my RCA
I take a beta blocker, statin, aspirin and
plavix
. No changes in meds. I’ve seen the cardiologist. He says ‘ some take longer than others’ and it’s part of the process. I asked about the stents getting clogged but says that’s unlikely given the new drug coating.

Lots of bad stuff happening, what to do?
A stent was put in and I am on drugs to help lower blood pressure, Baby aspirin +
Plavix
and a statin and an anti blood clot until next month -to make sure no clot forms in the stent. Yesterday I had Mohs skin cancer surgery on my nose for a basal call carcinoma.

Increase Prednisone?
., they said i have a torn achilles tendon...foot is swollen, black and blue...they want to avoid surgery since I am on
plavix
and countless other meds, so they put me in a cast for 3 weeks, then a boot, hoping it will heal on it's own...today is day 3 and the cast is driving me nuts!

Do you experience new lymph nodes after starting Acalabrutinib? + Issues with Plavix
SO the doctor advised her to not stop the
Plavix
but it resulted in massive bruising especially on the face, so we stopped it. Regarding the blood work, the WBC worsened a bit as it was expected but nothing have moved too much, except for the kidney measuring test which improved severely.

lymphedema from prostate cancer, any advice on how to manage?
One of my dad’s biggest issues with prostate cancer is severe lymphedema from the waist down. He used to just have it in his right leg from lymph node removal during RP. Since being on the lynparza in January both sides have swelled up as well as scrotum and everything else below the waist. He was told

Tuff Nutt is back with lots of questions!
In late November, 2023, I made two trips to ER for low BP and extreme chest pain in the same week. While in the hospital the second visit, my pre ER sore throat symptoms developed into something called HPIV-3. My first evening after being discharged, I developed uncontrollable coughing. This continued

What To Do Next?
Hi Friends, First post here, although I've come back to this forum a few times. I'm at a spot where, even though I know it's untrue, I feel like I'm experiencing anxiety like no one has ever experienced it before (we all know the lonely feeling). I've been dealing with this for about a year an a half

Possible drug interactions with Xtandi and blood thinners - advice needed
Dad's oncologist said Coumadin would be an option, but dad is also on
plavix
and that would create another drug interaction. Not to mention Coumadin is difficult to manage, especially so with Xtandi (according to the doctor).

Afib and CAD double trouble and their vicious cycle
Patients with CAD usually will get stents or bypass surgery and after it, they need to be put under antiplatelet therapy such as aspirin and/or
plavix
(clopidogrel) in addition to DOAC. This dual or triple therapy increases considerably the risks of bleedings among other risks.
