to detect an emergency. No need to supplement. Homosistein-Just to check if I need to start betaine again. B6-Test for toxicity. Better done by symptoms. Vitamin D-Check and try for midrange. This is what I got so far. Any suggestions or comments?

Low phosphate again
Hi everyone, I'll try and keep this as short as I can!So I keep having episodes of upper back & chest pain. Then get random feelings like my heart stops, then it beats super fast then slows again. This happens multiple times in a row which I then go to a&e to get checked out. Every time it comes back

Recommended Tracking App - Easy to use, tracks what I need to monitor for CKD
After searching for a long time and almost giving up, I finally found an app that does everything that I need. Yeah! It tracks my diet and helps me monitor my intake of Sodium, Potassium, Phosphate, Protein and Water, which is important for patients with CKD . At the same time it tracks calories

Comprehensive CKD and healthy Diet app
If you are aware of any reputable comprehensive apps to help track food intake for CKD patients. I would love a recommendation. Kidney diet tracking is complicated and it would be invaluable to have a toolset for those of us trying to implement dietary changes that are comprehensive. By comprehensive

Correct me if I am wrong. Please
I injected B6 at first and now use oral Pyridoxal 5
Phosphate
. There is no definitive
test
for B6 and they only way to find out if the cause of the pain is B6 is to do a trial. I could not think straight in that pain.

Good Evening, a little question. I was reading an article about white and whole grain bread. I believe with CKD it is advised to eat white bread due to lower phosphates. The article said that this is not always the case, as although whole grain has more phosphates we only absorb 20-50% of the phosphates

Vitamin B6 Toxicity: Available Testing of B6 Plasma Level Does NOT Tell You What You Need to Know

Background
: Vitamin B6 participates as a coenzyme in over 100 different biochemical reactions. When it does so it is converted to the inactive form, pyridoxine. The body contains a recycling loop that restores the pyridoxine to the active form, P5P. Vitamin B2 is required for this process

Scans other than PSMA for PC
My husband’s PSA continues to rise yet his PSMA scans are all clear. His last PSMA was late October with a PSA of 4.7 His PSA today was 6.5 It seems I have noted on this forum some other type scans should be done besides PSMA. His ALK PHOSPHATE is 85 (normal) Calcium levels all normal. Thanks

Trials and Tribulations.
I did a trial of 1.5 mg methylcobalamin 4 times a day and that was positive. I then increased physical activity and had 3 days of a downturn and recovered. I then reduced to .75 mg with no decline. I increased physical activity for three days and had a downturn. I then added .06 mg of methylcobalamin

Hello, I hope you are all keeping as well as possible. Last week I had some blood results back and have an appointment this Friday to talk to my GP about raised serum inorganic phosphate. This was measured one year ago and was in the normal range at 1.26mmoI/L. It is now 1.84mmI/L and in the abnormal

SI vs Self-treating
I started using the term self-treating as soon as I started to inject. In the USA I was prescribed 8 weekly cyno 1mg IM then 1mg cyno and 1 mg folic oral daily for life. No further treatment necessary. I did improve but not much. My impetus to self-treat was at first driven to prevent permanent damage
