Which cannabis product would offer someone with end-stage liver cancer more curative opportunities: 1:1 CBD-THC capsules or 70% THC oil?

My father, who had a liver transplant 1.5 years

ago has end-stage cancer now with metastasis to his lymphs and

bones. He has just started insulin potentiated chemotherapy and

medicinal cannabis (20 drops of Dronabinol and 1.5 grams of Bedrocan

daily). All these are under doctor control.

Apart from these, I am myself considering of buying CBD-THC

capsules (1:1 ratio) OR high THC oil (70%) for him.

1-Which cannabis product would offer someone with end-stage liver cancer more curative opportunities: 1:1 CBD-THC capsules or 70% THC oil?

2-Can the patient start cannabis capsules or oil during low-dose chemo?

  • Dear Swing, I am so sorry to hear about your dad...there is some research that suggest that both thc and cbd have anti cancer properties. interesting to see that your dad has been prescribed Bedrocan. would your dad's dr prescribe Bediol? that contains both Cbd and thc.

how did you get the Bedrocan? best wishes, Ginger.

  • I am sorry I have only just joined and found your post. I don't have an answer to your question, but if you make contact with BudBuddies, with Jeff Ditchfield or Mel Thomas, they will be able to give you really good advice.

  • Hello, I would just like to say that I took CBD cannabis oil (with no THC) for a few months and I am sure that helped me greatly. I am not an expert on it but I know someone who is. Free who runs the Hemp in Avalon shop in Glastonbury. You can call him during shop hours on tel: 01458 835769 or free@freecannabis.net. He specializes in selling CBD cannabis oil in different forms and is an expert on it. I hope that is helpful! JO

  • Hi Jo, how much CBD oil did you take daily, and in liquid form or paste? Thanks, Karen
