hi ladys had my op

evening ladys had my op on thursday was told i needed a interior bladder repair and a hyrstrectomy . after i woke up in recovery i was told i dident need a hyrsectomy and that my gyno had done a prolaspe repair it only needed sitches as it was spliit stright a cross .so iv got to go back to see my gyno in 6 wweeks time see what she as to say and a check up. im home now . feel like a ache in my bladder now and then . now nice . is this normal till it all heals . i take my paracetomol that help s abit . im resting and sleeping in the day acouple of times .just wounder if theres anyone whos had this ace after the intrior bladder repair whos had it sitched .

How lucky for you no hysterectomy. I had bladder repair as well as hysterectomy. Im nearly 6 months post op and my bladder feels great. I had a little pain for a week or so and took paracetamol. I hope you feel more comfortable soon

hi there Mrshappyme. Im glad your op is over and you are home recovering. Please can you tell me what they used for the repair? What were the stitches made of please? It sounds good to me and sounds like you didn't have the TVT. I may need similar to you in the future so im very interested in what they used. Its good you didn't need a hysterectomy as well. morning i only had sitches but i will as what the sitches was made of when i see the gyno in 6 weeks time . im just resting and good healthy blanced diet one step at atime .thankyou for your kind words .

morning so sorry to hear what you have had to go through .and i wish you the best of health sounds like you have been through alot too . im lucky i never had to have a hyerstrectomy but proberly i might have to later on down the line .hope not . id like to mention preal barley boil one table spoon of preal barley to one liter of water drink that every day it flushes your uti s out a old lady told me that and you know its the best peace of addvice iv had .all them antibiotics the doctors give you and side effects . when theres simple things like this to flush it out . i like the natral route to go down for any kind of health issuses if i can . and iv survied breast cancer 9years now all nateral things as breast care tablet effeced my heart . i know we have to stay strong and all the ladys have been aoart of my recovery as you have all been here for me when iv got worried and slightly panicy so my friends a big big thankyou from the bottom of my heart

so happy to hear you are home and we’re able to avoid the hysterectomy..I too had the bladder repair only with stitches and yes I felt achy pain and heavinesses for a while just take it slow and rest keep me posted
