Does anyone have a solution to ischeal tuberosities bursitis combined with vaginal prolapse? Caused by zip wiring on my 70th!

Five years on and I still only get relief by sitting on ice ! Could the prolapse exacerbate the discomfort of sitting?

The dragging feeling is now causing pins and needles and I am continually sore. If I could find any sort of relief I would max out my credit card willingly!

Hi. Sorry . You don't say what tests you have had or if your doing physio? If pain relief is not working you should speak to your gp. Perhaps they can advise a cortisone injection. As for your prolapse it can cause a drawing sensation and can be painful perhaps this also needs to be sorted. I had a vaginal wall prolapse repair nearly 2 years ago and I was 69 years of age. Get yourself to your gp and please let us know how you get on. Regards Sue

Have you got osteo arthritis of hips??

Get xray from gp and depending on results and pain an mri.

I feel prolapses which have been left alter gait and cause all sorts of ligament and tendon problems.

Not enough is done to rectify prolapses early enough. They cause unnecessary suffering and loss of income in my experience.

The effect on the lives of women is greatly underestimated when prolapses cause pain....

Also if sore suggest sylk vaginal moisturiser , can get via gp or on line.

Oestrogen cream may help with soreness and mild prolapse or hrt may be worth a try

Have you damaged a groin nerve? Are you able to sit pain free? Sleep pain free?Perhaps a nerve pain modulator at bedtime could help.

Thank you so much for replying.I have had all manner of scans, pudendal block injections, but no relief really. Sleeping is fine but sitting is painful. I am considering surgery for the prolapse but if the tendons are damaged it might make no difference....tricky decision

I think some Nortriptyline or Amytriptyline taken at bedtime might calm down your symptoms. Have you been offered any?
