hello I saw my primary care dr this past week , and she is a new one, and I talked to her about my chronic and very painful pelvic pain that I have even when I am not on my period I also do have endometrisis. she then asked if I was ever a victim if childhood sexual abuse. I am in fact in therapy on medication for depression and ptsd and anxiety, and am talking to someone about emotional abuse and sexual abuse I suffered as a child.. it is really difficult to talk about . I feel ashamed whenever I talk about it, but I feel safe enough here.
she said that chronic pelvic pain can be as a result of childhood sexual abuse. I had no idea!
I suppose I am on the right track with getting preofessioal help from mental health professionals. thanks for listening

Ask your doctor if she can recommend pelvic exercises for you. Go and walk at the gym or better still, outside. See if you these suggestions help. Hope you feel better.
