I had trigger point injections to my pelvic floor muscles which are given in the vagina. I took 2 Valium 2mg which helped me for anxiety. My dr rx two pills for this procedure. It was a painful procedure and at one point it literally felt Like a sharp stick going up anus. It was painful but tolerable. I bled yesterday and today I have back pain rated 9/10. It still hurts to sit. Has anyone else had these and how long before this back pain and soreness down there goes away. I can’t do anything. I took Tylenol but it didn’t help. Any home remedy suggestions? I don’t like taking rx pills and I took Valium yesterday.

Pelvic floor muscle injections
Hi Boots I'm sorry to hear that you are having such pain I have never had injections however I had very bad spasms in my pelvic floor after I prolapsed (bladder and uteral all at once to stage 2) I went to p/t and started to take calcium/magnesium and they did go away I also was instructed by my therapist to use a curved tool called the magic wand and it did work...are you seeing a therapist for the pelvic floor?
I am actually feeling better now. Before the injections I was given a dilator to use in lieu of therapy but I just don't get how to use. I can't find the trigger points that that doctor finds. Therefore, I requested physical therapy with a person who specializes in women's health. I found one within my insurance co. medical network and I am awaiting authorization. After reading about this type of PT, I am actually excited about it.
It is day 6 and the pelvic floor
