Pelvic congestion syndrome

Hi, I suffer from pelvic congestion syndrome & I’d like to hear anyone else’s experiences with this condition. It seems to be a common condition with little information on it. So far as I can tell it’s very underdiagnosed and people can live with it for a long time without any help.

When I was in my thirties, I was having trouble conceiving. After a laparoscopy cleaned out retrograde blood, I became pregnant immediately. Too late but at 60 I found out I had some endometriosis.

Anyways, after the baby was born and once I had weaned him off the breast at 14 months, my menstrual cycle started again. I developed severe pre-menstrual syndrome and pelvic congestion was part of it. Hormones are responsible.

The only thing that helped me was regular exercise and sexercize. The endogenous morphine working out and having an orgasm can cause is great for calming hormones. Stress is a major cause of hormone related issues. Meditation would likely help to.

Just back from hospital seen the bowel specialist he said that there is definitely a condition called pelvic congestion!! Said the gynecologist did not know what he was talking about.

What hope do we have!!! ☹️

I am back to square one as l had one in the beginning of this nightmere, got to have an urgent colonoscopy! Told him l have been suffering pelvic pain well over 20,year not really interested in my pain. Just concerned that l have had constipation that long! Sorry for the rant but feeling very frustrated 🤗

Try aloe Vera juice for the constipation. Keep hydrated to. It is so much work taking care of ourselves with chronic pain. Have you had a decent day today?

Bless you for your reply. Thank you for the tip will definitely try. Do l get that from health shop? l have found that eatting a acttiv yoghurt a day helps a little, the proplem with me is l have two very angry hemorrhoids 😩 so does no help. I have also found that going gluten free helps a little! I seemed to get more constipated when l eat anything that is supposed to be good for going to the loo! Hope you have a good pain free day !
