I have a UTI on Nitrofurantoin 7days now day 6 symptoms improving. Discovered my prolapse utuerus has descended further.pain feels like been kicked.Im 53 going through menapause no period for 3 months now. Does prolapse drop further after menapause as estrogen drops and what options do I have as don't want surgery? I'm finding it hurts to walk or sit for longer than an hour and have pelvic lower right pain most days now.

You could see your GP about a vaginal pessary to help support your prolapse. I've had a hysterectomy and now have anterior and posterior prolapses, tried pessary but unsuccessful as no cervix but might help you x
