Vaginal discharge not pregnant

Is this kind of vaginal discharge normal? I am not pregnant. I am expecting my menstruation after 4 days. I am on the second to the last dose of primolut to have a menstruation because I had irregular bleeding for 2 months. It is slimy. Sometimes it is pale yellow and white. Now it is yellowish.

Hi Julie,

Vaginal secretions do change colour throughout the menstrual cycle. If you aren’t in pain or have any other symptoms it might be nothing to worry about. But if you are worried you can either go into a sexual health centre which see this all of the time. They often have a walk in clinic. You can find these centres by looking on the website for your local hospital or where you work. You could see your GP but you might have to wait to get an appt. I’ve attached a link to the NHS website which might help you. Please let us know how you get on

Hi Julie, I agree with Alaine's reply. Go see your GYN. They can tell what is going on and what the discharge is coming from. Let us know how you are doing and if you need to talk. I'm here for you.

Thank you Shoebox. My vaginal swab was negative. I was treated for chlamydia that's why I was so paranoid whenever I see discharge down there I feel like it comes back again.
