Irritating Pain / Over-Sensitivity

I have pain on the left side of my penis. The pain is felt on the glans itself (corona), and neck of penis. Not sure how it started exactly, either I injured myself from stretching exercises or it could be pelvic floor muscles tension, they both started around the same time. My erection levels are normal, no curvature, and no discoloration since the pain started over two months ago.

Symptoms

- Over-sensitivity on the left side of penis from the slightest friction or touching. Walking or even sitting seems to aggravate it. It is least painful when I wake up in the morning, almost nonexistent, and the pain seems to increase as the day goes by. Normally I woke up with morning wood.

- Left buttocks and hip pain while sitting.

- PC muscles (between rectum and testicles) feel spasmed. I feel like I am sitting on a golf ball.

- Tightness around the opening of rectum, painful when I massage it.

- Plantar fasciitis on left foot, not sure if that's related.

Diagnoses

I went to my urologist who thought I could have injured a vein on my penis and caused a blood clot. He suggested to apply heat, take Motrin, and abstain from ejaculation.

Treatments

I have been applying heat from near infrared lamp and rice sock almost daily.

I am taking curcumin as anti-inflammatory and Nattokinase daily for blood clot (if I do have it).

I have been applying essential oils to my penis in the morning and night: Helichrysum, Frankincense, Rosemary, Grapefruit, Lemongrass, and Lavender.

I started applying vitamin e on my penis recently as well.

I abstained from masturbation for three weeks, even when I see girls I lower my gaze. I don't go on any website that could lead me to watching porn including Youtube. During this period I had 2 wet dreams. I noticed when I woke up I had no pain at all after ejaculation. Not sure what that tells you.

Conclusion

I need to get married by the end of the year. I am still virgin, I have never even kissed a girl. I am depressed, scared, and feeling hopeless. If anyone offers me 100 million dollars and tells me to deal with this pain for the reset of my life, I wouldn't take it. I need my penis back, that's the only true joy I get out of life. When I see beautiful girl out there and remember my injury I just want to cry. I am scared of any complications.

I want to heal myself quickly but I need to know what I am dealing with first. What do you recommend I should do next?

Hi from your symptoms especially the golf ball symptom it sounds like the pudendal nerve. Please google Pudendal Nerve Symptoms Male - and search for recommendations. I would suggest you get a referral to a pain management specialist from your GP. A pain management specialist can give an injection alongside the pudendal nerve to reduce inflammation and pain, hopefully this will be enough although you may need to go back on a regular basis until the nerve heals. Make a list of your symptoms for the pain management specialist. Pudendal nerve pain is a terrible pain to have to endure, I also suffer with this pain. I hope this will get you on the right track. All the best.

Cvbn how did you know you have pedestal nerve problem and what is causing it as I have coccyx problem and is supposed to be causing sacral nerve impingement but am finding it hard to get anyone to inject sacra nerves says it needs to be a gynaecologist who did pudenal nerve injections for you and where did they inject was it sacral nerves and what levels was it S1 S2 S3 or S4 or is the pudenal nerve different or where is your nerve irritation. thanks in advance

There is a test called ENG / EMG . One is a test on the nerves and one is a test on the muscles. An ENG can be done to check which spinal nerves are effected like the sacral nerves and coccygeal nerves. An EMG can check the perineal muscles and muscles in the buttocks to see if the muscles are functioning normally or not. Another test on the pudendal nerve is called PNMLT. i.e. Pudendal Nerve Motor Latency Test. You can google these tests. You will need to get a referral to a neurologist who will order these tests for you. You can also get a referral to a pain management specialist, explain your symptoms and they will give you the nerve block in the sacral area, the buttocks as well as in the pudendal nerve area to relieve your symptoms. If Neurologists don't do the PNMLT ask which speciality does and get a referral from either the neurologist or your GP. Let us know if any further advice or support needed. All the best, I hope all goes well.

Thanks for the reply.

I really hope this can be reversed quickly and naturally. One thing I forgot to mention is that my left testicle started becoming swelling around the same time this happened. Its like if I am getting varicocele. Also something interesting I observed recently is that when I sleep (lying flat) the pain almost disappears. If I touch my penis, I barely feel pain. It seems like walking and sitting intensifies the problem. What does that tell you?

Hi, what does your GP say about the left testicular swelling. It could be this that is causing the nerve pain. I would go back to your GP as the left testicle needs attention first before any other investigation is done in my opinion. Ask your GP which specialist you should go to. It is possible you can google ' swollen left testicle to see if it mentions which specialist you should see. I would say please seek medical attention as soon as possible. All the best.

Might you have a coccyx problem have you looked in to that I just wonder because of the spasming of muscles check it out

Have you had a U-Sound of the penis, Flaccid and erect? That will verify that nothing the wrong with penis itself. (Wondering if its the start of Peyronnies). Have you tried nerve blocks and Lyerica?

Did you solve your problem? Do you still have friction pain when walking?

I would encourage you to find a really good pelvic floor physical therapist who can help you relieve some of the muscular tension and spasms. The tight muscles could be putting pressure on the nerves and causing the penis pain. I have the same problem as you do and this has helped a little bit for me. Everyone is different, so maybe it will help you more. I also have little or no pain when i touch my penis, but I have a lot of pain when i walk when the penis rubs against my underwear. Some days it is unbearable.

Any updates from anyone?? Has anyone had any improvements? I wish people would post more frequently and work together to help us all figure out this weird problem we have.
