Hi all, so with this outbreak of Coronavirus, im wondering if anyone else is concerned?

Im on a few FB groups discussing this and everyone is slightly unsure how bad this is going to be and what precautions we should be taking in advance.

Also - the syptoms of it seem to be my everyday life, respitory distress, fever and cough - hello! Welcome to my world people! But yeah - thoughts?

Hi BackwardsGirl

Yes I am a little scared about Coronavirus but I promised my self not to live life in fear along time ago when I first found about PCD. In fact I am more scared about my young child getting sick more then myself getting ill. These days I am trying to practice good hygiene by washing my hands more and so on....

All people can do is be aware of their surroundings and try not to come in contact with people who are ill.

Hi. I’m looking for a support group for this, how can I join on FB? Really worried about the coronavirus and my doctors can’t even speak to me unless I have symptoms. I’m feeling so stressed out about this.

Hi! Please don't stress or panic. I know its such a scary time but we are all in this together. If you search on FB for the PCD Connect group - there is a few different ones. Also if you do need anyone to speak with, feel free to add me on FB - Name is Michelle Forsythe & i will chat to you anytime you need it! My doctor sent me out some antibiotics, steroids and extra inhalers and daily meds to keep me going through all of this. You should do the same. Its best to be prepared.
