Re..Incapacity benefits appeal info needed please folks.

I went to my appeal ESA tribunal on 08-04 2013 where the DWP didn't even bothering to turn up to dispute the original decision..I won the appeal..I havn't received a penny in benefits since 04-10 2012 because attending my local office was affecting my health..Am i eligible for all of my back dated benefits from the date of the original decision was made?

Which group were you put in ? Support or work related ? And I guess as you've received no benefit then your on contribution based benefit not income.

You can only receive contribution based ESA in the work related group for 365 days then it stops and you either get nothing or go on to income based.

If you didn't get put in the support group you need to further appeal hope this helps
