just had bloods done ready for my consultant next week and the electrolytes are very high higher than last time i have now had them re done

pick up results tomorrow . has anyone else suffered kidney problems are they caused through pbc ? cheers

Hello, had to look up the word 'electrolytes' and they are something to do with imbalance which seems to be on the kidney blood tests.

Mine have always (so far) been normal but I do know that potassium is one that a few others on this site at some point have mentioned.

As far as I think kidneys is nothing to do with PBC but apparently certain other blood checks can be abnormal in anyone with what is considered to have a chronic condition. I know I have a couple of slightly under what is considered normal in the FBC., my HB is usually a point below and the lymphocyte (white blood cells) is also.
