I don't take URSO but do get headaches. I get them almost every day - back of head just behind ears. I never got headaches until 2 years ago (dx PBC 1 1/2 years ago).

I do take URSO and I do get headaches. Started URSO 3 1/2 years ago but headaches started about two years ago. There are two kinds I get. One happens in the middle of the night and will wake me if Im asleep and be in the back of my head, painkillers dont touch em but they always go in the morning. The other more recent one Ive started is one that comes on during the day from the moment I get up and is behind the eyes, it lasted 3 weeks and is gone at the moment. Im seeing a neurologist about the headaches and other symptoms at the moment and having various tests done as my GP felt they had been going on for too long.

Cant say I ever related it to URSO but all meds can have side effects and they nearly all say headaches.

I have suffered classsic migraines for years (way before I was diagnosed with PBC). I do, however, get tension headaches behind my eyes but mostly when I am tired and my eyes are heavy and feel strained. As much as I do not like taking paracetamol, I find this helps. x

I have taken Urso for almost 12 years but do not get headaches. It sounds a very individual thing and as Kosy 2 says , you can get headaches without taking Urso as well. That doesn`t help you much Judy 48 but like everything in the PBC world, nothing is definite.
