OK so I see my gp today, and thanks to the news letter I asked what my alt is, as I have never been told, its 129, was 131 so I guess its good its going down
Other thing was my blood test showed positive for connective tissues marker, but she said it could be part of the pbc or something else wait until rheumatology appointment to see more, so now I feel in bloody limpo with joint pain that I just have to cope with
Sorry for the rant but feel frustrated and no one seams to have a straight answer

It does seem that many of us with PBC talk about our joint pain which for me is worse during the current hot weather we are having in the UK.
Apparently it is necessary to keep well hydrated to help the connective tissue. I believe but am not sure that foods like grapefruit, oranges and tomatoes may make the pain of osteoarthritis worse.
I hope your appointment will come through quickly for you.
