I feel like I have been kept in the dark for too long about my autoimmune conditions. I wish a cure should be found sooner. I don’t like my medications they gave me all the side affects and I need to stop at least one of them. Thanks

Once there is one auto immune disease it seems that others come along. I was diagnosed with PBC some thirteen plus years ago, since then I have also been diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia, peripheral neuropathy and a minor one - rosacea. I also suffer with dry eyes and more and more my mouth is dryer than it used to be, I was never a pill popper and I really resent taking those life saving medications that I swallow every day. Funnily enough the worst one is a huge vitamin tablet that is really difficult to get down. I have been lucky on the fatigue side of things only meeting a brick wall every now and then but the itching has been a plague on my life. I take a cocktail of drugs which do help with the so called itch of PBC but it is ever present at different levels throughout the day. Like you I wish there was a cure for so many of the evil diseases now known to man.

It started with asthma at the age of 8 years and I’m 59 this year the list keep growing and the worst is the itch which I was under control wit antihistamine till 2 years ago. I’m not sure if they have changed something in the formula of the Urso for that’s my main suspect here. I feel better after a stopping it fo a month now. I do understand it’s very wrong to stop taking it but may be it’s time for changing medications. By the way the itch wasn’t my only side effect but it’s the one that I can no longer copes with. Thanks for replying ButterflyEi
