Correlation between PBC and Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis

So I finally had my liver biopsy and it would appear I am at the end of Stage 2 PBC. As my immune system is compromised and I have been diagnosed with PBC, Hashimoto’s, and Seborrheic Dermatitis, now it appears my colon is now under attack. Does PBC and either Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis go hand in hand? I have not been tested for either yet, but these are the symptoms I am having.

GhostHunter,

That's hard to deal with for sure. It seems one autoimmune disease begets another. Google The Leaky gut theory. Read all you can.

Sounds like your immune system is under attack. You might check out... Lowdosenaltrexone.org too. Read all you can there on that sight. Interesting information.

I take low dose naltrexone. 3.5mg a night.

If you have any questions about that site or that drug private message me.

I think there is. Since Christmas I have lost almost a stone! Last week I had a colonoscopy but no sign of colitis so just waiting for the results to come back which could be Crohns. I've been reading about the gut and it's clear, our immune systems being compromised make this a target! Hope I get the answer and the treatment I need soon and you do too.
