Leg problems and Pbc

Hi I was diagnosed with Pbc and taking the urso.

The problem I'm having is with my knees mainly. I get knee (patella )tendonopathy every two-3months and now it varies either left or right. I take very strong pain killers which don't help the liver but the pain is terrible without. Has anyone else with Pbc had this.

Do you know what causes the tendonopathy? Of course the problem with this is that with pain you will no doubt not want to walk or exercise which is not necessarily good. I have not had experience of this and wonder if the root cause is something else. Have you had specialist advice?

Thanks and yes I have an appointment next month with a knee clinic, hopefully get some answers then as all I get from hospital is take pain killers and rest, I'm a Carers for my brother and need to get up and about asap.

I get chronic tendonitis in both hips. It's been over a year and still not healed. I use topical Diclofenac gel but it only help some. It gets worse if I walk more than 25 minutes on the treadmill. It's very frustrating....
