Itch helped by exfoliating gloves

Hi all

I find that those scratchy nylon gloves sold for use in the bath can bring some relief without doing damage. I use them dry and keep one handy by the bed at night, but I must stress that my itch doesn't feel as 'deep' and unreachable as many people report.

Hope this helps someone. x

Hello skypony.

Read your post with interest BUT I found that this just made me itch all the more! I find that rubbing/scratching where I feel the itch although it feels good it does not bring any relief to cease it occurring at the time. I did once think about exfoliating glove/pad and tried but for me it just proved not very useful. Glad that you are finding it of some relief.

It sounds AMAZING, but for me if I scratch; I itch all the more. Lol I find that if I just ignore the itch for as long as I can (seriously HARD) that it goes away eventually. There is a lot of grunting and growling during this time too lol

Yes Cstar, peridot said the same thing. I do admire you for being able to do wait it out like that, love to hear the growling!

My itch began about a year ago, and although it can be relieved in one area, it re-surfaces somewhere else pretty quickly, so I'm kept quite busy! I do really feel for you and everyone else with intractable itch, and I also wonder if mine might be in the earlier stages and develop into that later? Anyone remember how theirs started?
