Hello sophie666.

As we know we can acquire other health issues regardless of having PBC.

Hypoglycaemia I believe is due to low blood sugar and something diabetics can experience.  (My 6 year old granddaughter is insulin-dependent diabetic, my daughter has mentioned this.)

I personally can't think how it is related to PBC but as we know certain symptons we can acquire with PBC may have some sort of knock-on effect to perhaps contribute to others.

I intermittently suffer hypoglycaemia have done for years.  If i leave it to long between breakfast and lunch I will get an attack so always have a mid morning snack and if I'am going out I take something with me.  I don't know if it's related to Pbc but I've had it longer than the pbc dx I did tell the consultant about it but she shunned the idea, so it would be interesting to know.

But for me lunch is always 12:00 on the dot.

In some people, pbc effects pancreas system as well because of that some pbcer can develop diabetes..I'm diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia just recently which is same or worst then diabetes.. that's why we have to very careful with simple carbs and sugar.
