Sorry, i tried to correct this and my finger slipped! I don't know if you're panic attack is related to PBC but I know that sometimes I feel anxious if I think too deeply about the illness. the fight or flight reflex I suppose can feel like being a rabbit stuck in the headlights and I would encourage you to talk to someone about this sooner rather than later.

The PBC Foundation organise workshops for folk with the disease that are very good for positive thinking ! May be helpful .

I agree with CathieG. it can be a very overwhelming experience being diagnosed or may be triggered by any number of other factors. Talking with a professional can be incredibly empowering and beneficial to your overall health. it can help to provide you with some coping skills to help manage anxiety more effectively. Good luck. ☺

I have developed panicky/anxiety symptoms, I was diagnosed last year with pbc/Sjogrens, the anxiety seems to catch me off guard. I live in Canada and wonder if the PBC foundation is available to me as well.
