Has anyone diagnosed with PBC ever had anti-D injections after pregnancy or a miscarriage, I was wondering if there could be a connection here?

Yep, all 3 pregnancies and one early miscarriage.

That was the same for me Liverlizzy, 3 pregnancies and one miscarriage, I only recently found out it is derived from blood plasma.

I had normal pregnancies and childbirth and never had whatever the injections you mentioned following.

The injections you mention aren't the ones where there is different blood group between baby and mother.

Can't see that being a connection either, sorry.

Anti D is given as a prophylactic during pregnancy and after if you are a Rh negative blood group.

All women have a dose at 28 weeks and after only if the baby is Rh positive.

I don't know of any reason why anti d would have any correlation with PBC, however some women are diagnosed with PBC during/ after Pregnancy, possibly because we don't have our liver functions tested before, and obstetric cholestasis was diagnosed when it was actually PBC.

Thank you for your reply. I was just looking for possible triggers as you do, I was concerned because Anti-D is made from the plasma of human blood, given by donors and I had my first baby mid 80's, before the time blood was routinely screened.
