Good morning.I’m sorry that things have worsened in your country. The problem we have now everywhere is that every illness or symtom we get we are afraid it’s corona related,my adult children are tested at every twinge they get and of course we’ve just came through winter when there are many bugs and virus’s around. Now we are into hay fever season people will get scared again. Why don’t you try some natural remedies like swirling honey in warm water around your throat,it’s antibacterial and will keep any inflammation down. You probably have a lot of tension in your neck in these mean times too so try some gentle neck stretching exercises, you can find guidance on you tube just don’t overdo it and lastly try some mediation using the Calm apps it will all help and reassure you.

Best of luck.

I began to increasingly have trouble with the reflexes in my throat. Things kept going down the wrong way and I was becoming very worried that I would develop aspirational pneumonia. After I began regular B12 injections it has gradually improved again and rarely happens. I am also getting less reflux and not biting my tongue/cheek as often - which was driving me crazy!

I have this issue and have my esophagus stretched once every three years during an endoscopy. I have suffered with acid reflux since my late twenties. I would definitely follow up with a gastroenterologist about this problem as it can continue to worsen. Good luck!

I had this happen to me. It turned out the culprit was a pill I was taking called MigRelief- which only contains B2, magnesium and feverfew. I was having a reaction to the feverfew which was causing my esophagus to swell. Stopped the pill, problem solved. I get what your going through as it was really disconcerting until I figured it out. I'm sorry you're going through this. Feel better, Akashrajput.
