Symptoms seems to be returning back

Hi Everyone, I was diagnosed with vitamin b12 deficiency in Nov 2019. After 4 very bad months of my life I recovered from it and was feeling totally normal( except tinnitus no other symptoms). My brain functions have had returned to normal. From March 2020, I started self injections once every month. Today , on Dec 9 th 2020, I an feeling like dizzy, having tingling sensations throughout my body, and anxiety is at its peak. I wanted to know if this happened with anyone and should I increase the frequency of my injections. I am also feeling a very little of peripheral neuropathy and slurred speech. And i can feel my thinking to be not so clear. Thank you in advance. Please help.

Hi psawant it certainly wouldn’t do any harm to redo your loading doses and see how you feel after.some of us find we have to inject every other day just to keep symptoms at bay,I do,I then fiddle around with the frequency because I feel better and wrongly think I can reduce my shots like I did yet again a couple of weeks ago and got quite ill again so it’s different for everyone,it’s good to find a frequency that keeps you well and if that means increasing your frequency then do what’s right for you.Good luck x

What was your b12 level If you recovered how come you injected monthly was that at your Gp or your doing ?

I get ear ringing of my main symtom plus bunch of other stuff I’m not healed far from it

Went low June this year on monthly but SI alter days now.

Untill I can get some improvement

Which isn’t happening yet

I get tingeling ear hissing weak burning arms vile

I hope you get some answers

I injected monthly because I didn’t want all those things to happen all over again. I did it on my own.

I see Is your Gp not helping with maintenance b12

Why was you low was there a reason ?

Not sure why your exper symtoms after doing b12 regular each month ,

My neuro consultant questioned why fir me as I was kept in the dark with neg p cell and neg intrinsic factor Then he mentioned h pylori

I tested abnormal fir this

I was treated but it took me def in b12

AwFull gastro issues with it

My tummy was effected mild gastritis and still b12 low I may always nit absorb b12 from tummy damage h pylori

But I hope with reg b12 inj this will help

I SI myself alter days

As I went bad again my Gp told me to stop b12 as my level was high

I stopped and back to being very thin and unwell Jyst started b12 yesterday

Feel awFull as it’s to long with no b12 and

I should not listen to her
