Thanks

To my knowledge ,Westonhanger 1 , there is no such clinic . As you may have realised through reading the posts on this forum , P.A. is a ‘Cinderella’ condition , for which it is difficult to 1) Get a diagnosis, 2) Get the correct treatment if the ‘one size fits all ‘ doesn’t happen to suit .

The only thing I can suggest , is to get in touch with private hospitals and ask them if they have any doctors who have a special interest in P.A. . I consulted a haematologist privately when I first found I had P.A. , and he was hopeless , and had less knowledge about PA. than I had managed to

.glean from the Internet and Martyn Hooper’s books ( our Chairman and founder ) He also told me that he wasn’t actually interested in P.A. !

PA brings stomach problems because of the low/no stomach acid caused by it . (Hypochlorhydria/ Achlorhydria) I have managed to overcome my problems with P.A. by self-injecting Vitamin B12 at intervals that keep the symptoms at bay . The stomach problems are helped with probiotics , and acidic drinks .

Maybe you will get some better advice about a private clinic . I do hope so . I do know an excellent private doctor in Gloucestershire who helped me at first to get a diagnosis , but I don’t know if he would call himself a specialist . You know we cannot use names on this forum , so if you were interested in knowing , I would have to private -message you .— Best wishes .
