suggest you speak to the dispensing pharmacist and your GP about the side-effects from the medication.

There are a lot of possible treatments for migraine.

The one you have been prescribed is no longer available in the US. It seems to have a large number of side-effects, including those you mention - so probably isn't a suitable medication for you.

The pharmacist may be able to recommend some more suitable alternatives if your GP isn't aware of other options

Thanx for ur reply, my neuro gave me another option that propanol form, but since my blood pressure is on lower side I can’t fake that 😔

your neuro is trying options that may reduce the frequency - not always possible - may be time to talk about something that helps to stop the severity of an attack once started eg triptans - though they aren't without down sides.

Some studies have found the supplementing B6, folic acid and (oral) B12 can reduce the incidence of migraine with aura.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/273...

This group found that 2 mg folic acid works better than 1 mg.

They used doses of B12 (400 micrograms) that are quite low for people with PA.

MTHFR defect is associated with increased susceptibility to migraines, and appears to reduce the effect of supplemental vitamins.

I am in the US and have always had migraines, however not to the extent I have been having them for almost the last 2 years. I tried several different meds (not familiar with the one you stated). One medication worked wonders, but they had to keep increasing it over time and it finally didn’t work. It was Topamax and it is also an anti seizure med which probably made my PA worse. I didn’t know I had it at the time. I currently just received my second set of Botox for my migraines. It is 31 different injections, but has worked extremely well. Migraines are so awful, I hope you are able to get some relief. A lot of the migraine meds made me sick to my stomach.
