Blood results

I have symptoms of PA\b12 deficiency - I have Hashimotos, vitiligo and am coeliac, I believe an aunt had PA but am estranged from the rest of my family.

I have an appt on Saturday to discuss my results but have been told they’re normal.

I am wrestling with poorly managed thyroid and haven’t felt well for a while.

Any ideas or suggestions welcomed gratefully x

looking at the above PA (a B12 absorption problem) looks unlikely - unless you have an earlier serum B12 test showing much higher levels (20%+ higher) its very unlikely to be B12 that is the problem and much more likely to be the thyroid - looks like you may be signficantly over medicated but sure you will have had advice on that on TUK.

Hi, just noticed your post when searched for 'ears'! I am.similar to you, hashis for 15 yrs and about to start t3 but found gastric cell antibodies so now having b12 loading, 2nd today. But the fulness and blocked feeling in ears and head were new to me since a viral inf in dec, but then also have the bad tingling, bad brain fog and memory, and awful fatigue, like you describe. I wanted to say that the injections have really increased the ear/head full issue and i am hoping this means itis related and is just getting worse before better! I will let you know what happens. I hope you are getting somewhere with your symptoms? It is so confusing and frustrating, but atnleast we know i suppose and found this forum, my lifesaver as itis v lonely, no one wants to listen to all our ills, 😴
