Just listened to this really interesting and far from dull scientific programme on the immune system.

Professor of Immunology and Public Engagement at the University of Manchester, Sheena Cruickshank, again stresses the importance of a varied diet (including fermented foods ) for maintaining a healthy and diverse gut bacteria 🤗

I could say it's all a load of crap. :-) But messing about put aside it is surprising what our poop can reveal about our health.

Good gut flora is a must for good health.

I could hardly constrain my excitement (or was it excrement) at the thought of listening to the above but sadly they don't put subtitles up on the radio programmes so wasn't able to understand what she said.

Sorry Clive - a shame they don't do transcripts.

Just looked - they do transcripts for some programmes but not for this 🙁
