Do you find that taking B12 supplements daily or regularly helps along with injections?

I supplement daily with B1 100mg, B6 100mg, centrum multivitamin , and 4x methyl-b12 sublinguals 5mg each to get through the daily commute and work.

They help me stay alert and not fall asleep all the time.

Ok, ty. Actually just took some B12. But your brain seems to be working.

Only injections of B12 help me . Before I started self-injecting , I tried sub-lingual Methylcobalamin, patches , nose and mouth sprays . All to absolutely no effect at all , infortunately .

50 000 mcg seems to be working for me, with 1 ml injection daily.

Yes, is that bad? May do injections every other day.

"lol". Probably 1 or 2 days I did that, and not in a row?

Not consistently.

I only ask Fl17 as I am about to learn to self inject. I have been existing on 15,000 mcg Jarrows, 5000 mcg 3 times a day. Although it has got me a little on my feet it has not cured the balance problems and numb feet. I have now been advised by a charity doctor that if I do not self inject every day for 2 weeks and then every 2 to 3 times for the next 8 weeks, then re-evaluate, I would be in a wheelchair in 6 months. Everything has gone down including my thyroid and low cortisol. I am probably undiagnosed Celiac too :0( I was just thinking wow! 50,000 mcg! and did not know whether it was a typo on your part Fl17. Did you notice a lot of difference with 50,000 mcg sublingural, if so I will up mine, although it gets very expensive on the higher doses. Thank you for replying to me xX

I think it may have helped, but I feel I need less as I started injections last? Week. I find diet and water had really helped just in the last day.

Maybe you can find some cheaper sublinguals, I'm lucky to see mine on sale once -in-a-while.

So glad you have a Doc, and we don't want to see you in a wheelchair, girl.

You are healing.

Be cautious of B6, you can look at posts here on that. May help some though.

Maybe cut out bread for now, at least a week? And see how you feel. Im doing the same :) gonna try for at least a month? Or so.

Self- injections are easy for me I find. It can be 'fun' too. lol

Likewise, ty for responses.

I have a feeling your positive attitude will get you far in life, not just your healing.

Please feel free to go through my posts and see any info given by me or others.

Someone posted about diet, maybe you can look at that.

All the best. ox ..

Hi Fl17 I have had to go gluten free, high IgA's. Some people report instantly feeling better within 3 days. I have been gluten free for 7 weeks now apart from less tummy pains after I eat, I have not felt any difference, I shall plod along :0) I have also upped salt and water as my adrenals have had it (low morning cortisol, normal late afternoon going high in the evening). My blood pressure is so low that when I stand up I nearly pass out, it drops low when I stand, mornings are the worse. By evening time it will only drop about 6 points when are go from sitting to standing. The charity doctor wants me on hydrocortisone, I am resisting this at the moment and trying the salt water, Thornes Cortex, and pregnalone. The B12 ampoules are in the fridge, needles are on the way. I am hoping that my practice nurse will show me how to do this if I pay privately, I don't hold out much hope. I looked at youtube videos on this and spent the whole time saying oh hell! Did you have someone show you how to inject darling? I did smile when you said self-injections are easy for me :0) I need some courage :0/
