Afternoon everyone, just to say thank you for your kind replies to my post about my difficult week. My ear has calmed down a bit but I'm still phoning docs in morning and we did some planting to remember our kitten who sadly died on Thursday. A friend is doing a painting of her for us.
Anyhow on a different subject, my two daughters got me some flowers for Fathers Day which was lovely.
Happy Fathers Day to everyone, the Fathers as well as to the army of Single Mums who bring up their children on their own through no fault of their own. I've been a single mum for 10+ years after getting rid of my abusive ex husband (still got the scars to prove it.) So HAPPY FATHERS DAY EVERYONE 😊😊

Happy Fathers Day to you too.Glad you are feeling better and that your ear has calmed down now. How nice to have a painting of your little kitten to remember her by - enjoy your day.
Hi Bentlyboo. So pleased that you're feeling better than you were last week.
It's so nice to recognise that mums are fathers too in many cases. So...happy Father's Day to all those mums who do such a splendid job of being both parents. And so, to you also Bentlyboo 😀.
Oh, and, by the way, posted a response on your previous post this morning (re ear problems). Might be worth taking a quick peek before you see your GP tomorrow.
Thanks Bentleyboo I got lovely cards from my two daughters Lisa and Julie and 40 year old stepdaughter Zoe, who thinks me more of a Dad to her than her natural father who deserted her and her Mum Gill when she was only five years old.
My first wife died 24 years ago (after 27 years of marriage) and Gill and I have been married for nearly 20 years. Gill had to "bring up" Zoe on her own for fifteen years, so similar circumstances to yours.
