Can you tell me which size needles I need to self inject Hydoxo please. I'm having a friend inject me twice a week but I want to start injecting myself every other day as my fatigue has returned. T A xx

I inject into my thigh(outer middle 1/3rd.) I use a long thick needle to extract the B12 out of the ampoule into the syringe . This is a 21G X1 1/2" (0.8 X 38mm)

The injection needle I use for into the muscle is---23G X 1" (0.6 X 25mm)

I use 2 needle because on occasions I blunt the needle by touching the ampoule whilst withdrawing. This can make for a painful injection. As the needles aren't expensive , I find it worthwhile.. If you want to inject sub-cutaneously, I don't know what to use. Hope this us helpful. Best of luck!

It depends whether you wish to do intramuscular or subcutaneous injections. I do the latter using one tiny insulin needle which I use to draw up and inject. Very easy. Now I am used to it it takes less than one minute from start to finish.
