Hi I have just been to see my GP I asked him if I could have my injection every four weeks. He said I can have it every ten weeks which is a bit better than what I am on now. Which is every twelve weeks he said my B12 level was 560 he said that was too high I told him that 560 was borderline and I was having double vision as well as the all the most common symptoms. He said it was depression and put my Sertraline up to 150mg and told me to make an Appointment at the opticianam I am thinking of SI. Where do you get the needles, syringes, sharps box and the B12 from?

Thanks

Phil

Needles and syringes (and swabs and plasters) from Amazon. B12 from Amazon in Germany. Sharps box from the local council.

Next time you have a jab ask the nurse who administers it to show you how. Ask to be shown the best place to stick it in the thigh. My nurse was wonderful when I mentioned self-injection. She got prepared the stuff, slowly walking me through each stage then got me to jab myself.

I'm sorry that you have such an idiot for a doctor Artist62.

Hopefully if you SI successfully you may never need to see him again until his retirement party :D

560 is too high? Absolute rubbish. The lower range in Japan is 550 as that's the point at which damage starts to occur.

I told him that he said if my levels increase if I have more regular treatment It would be too high. I told him I would just pee some out because it is water soluble he relented and I am now on every 10 weeks. in the meantime I will just go blind ha ha PS my GP is only 31 long time before he retires.
