Diamond Jubilee Weekend

Hi everyone

Well its Friday, the holiday weekend is upon us, its the queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the weekend is extended to Monday & Tuesday too

Let me know what your doing, whether your celebrating the Jubilee or not.....I`m starting the weekend off by going to the dentist this morning at 10.15 for 2 fillings....AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!

As usual I will be seeing my kids on Saturday.....Phoebe has got a party to go to...she has a better social life than me!! lmao

always look forward to your weekend blog, I am working most of weekend (nights) so sleeping too I hope during the day. Lots going on in York though for Jubliee so might catch some of that. I rembber the coronation well I was 3yrs old and won a fancy dress competiion at our street party, I went as a gypsy. It is one year today that my husband (he has the PD) had a heart attack, so today we are going out to celebrate his full recovery, this I am afraid will be something very naughty but nice , probably a cream tea and a visit to the pub xxx have a nice w/end everyone

My trip to dentist went ok....it didnt hurt a bit I was such a brave boy! lol

Glad your trip to the dentist went well. I get sooooo nervous at the dentist that I shake the entire visit!

we. as you know live in france so they dont take too kindly to the royals - although that was hundreds of years ago -

we are planning a quiet time - fred mowing the 1 .5 hectares of lawn and watering our 35 baskets and pots !! shall go for a swim later probably - and oh yes i felt so bad yesterday that i decided too stop taking most of the meds ... am now only on 3x 125 mlgs of dispersable modopar, 6 times a day and i am alredy feeling better - i could not speak to my neuro yesterday and they only offered us a 9 am appt on monday so i have decided to call him on monday -

Hi everyone

I had a good day with the kids. took Phoebe to the party but for some reason she didnt want to join in, she was very clingy and wouldnt leave my side the whole time we were there...bless her!

Anyway I`m tired out now, just gonna spend rest of weekend chilling out

Im very much involved in our Big Village Picnic tomorrow on the village green. I live in rural North Yorkshire. We're having a bring n share picnic, kids games/races, competitions,includng knobby knees if we get any takers.Im judging that one! Will be all jubilee'd out by tomorrow night so MIGHT get a decent nights sleep. Roll on Monday & a day chillin.

Hi Andy,

Sunday afternoon watching the pageant on the TV. Live in the Isle of Man,so we are having our bank holiday in July , the 5th being our Tynwald Day (our own government) & we have got the 6th off as well. But it is TT Bike Racing fortnight so the island is very busy. We also had the olympic torch on the island yesterday. Wonderful weekend.

Off down the promenade now, to take in the atmosphere. I'm in our iom Rock Choir & we are singing at Bushys tent tonight. Must remember to take my pills , so my tremour doesn't take on.
