yey Andy .. you have a ball :-) I have bands, radio show, and all cool stuff .... of course the odd drum session!

Enjoy!

I have had a fantastic 5 days in Spain with friends we havent seen for a long long time. We had such a good laugh - at times hysterical, and I felt like the old me again. It's almost a year since diagnosis and I think I am actually coming to terms with it now - I have so much to live for and I am going to make the most of it all!! Anyway, this weekend I am going to chill out some of the time and spend the rest of the time catching up with housework, my children (26 & 29) and my mum and dad - bliss xxx

I bet you are getting excited and tired all at the same time. But soon enough you will be all settled in and glad to be in your new home.

Hi all yes weekend starts here, I am at work this afternoon, and then tomorrow night 13hrs shift, what fun. This weekends starts the beginning of PD awareness week, so tommorrow as my hubby chairman of our local branch we are hosting a service in our Local Church with civic party attending and nibbles and things afterwards hopefully local press with attend. During week we have quiz in local pub, open top bus with PD information in shopping areas and to finish off a street collection for PD. So wish us luck, we well collapse in a heap probabl yby next Sunday, but hopefully be worth it. My hubby ( hes the one with parkie for past 17yrs) always says if we can help just one person/family to be more aware then it will be worth it.

Well, bum, I am jealous. I am stuck at home with husby who is getting more and more delusional and cannot even do the toilet thing by himself so its up and down like whores' drawers. He doesn't sleep, is into midnight feasts at the moment and keeps wanting to know where the team is (used to be an RAF officer so is used to having a team at all times). We did watch the Grand National and went to Lidl to buy his favourite ice cream so I guess it was really exciting.

We had garage cabinets installed so I'm helping (?) my husband put things away. I just finished putting 10 door handles on. It took me an hour. My husband put 7 on in 10 minutes. But, as he said "you did it" and that's what counts.

I have almost finished a quilt that I'm giving my mom for Mother's Day, if I can wait that long. This is a hobby I start ed to enjoy after my retirement. Came out pretty. Hope she likes it. Also, for serious work effort, I did a little painting on my new porch, it was an open porch, now it will be glassed and screened in. It's almost black-fly season in Maine. Also, my hubby and I tried to get to our camp in the North Maine Woods. Too much snow and mud on the last road so we stopped, had a nice picnic, listened to the silence of the woods and came home. Good day today!
