Keep laughing!!

My friend was driving up the east coast. She stopped on a beach in NC where she found a beautiful male Schnauzer, perfectly groomed, well trained and not neutered. No owner showed up. Her household could not keep him and I was at a place in my life where a dog was welcome. After I had Pepsi about a year a woman called me. "I hear you have a beautiful male Schnauzer. I want my female to have a litter before spaying her. Do you suppose we could se if they like each other." "I said, "Why not?" Next day she came calling, with a bitch in heat.

Like each other?? They never got out of the foyer!! I sat on the steps and could not stop laughing. LIKE EACH OTHER? She gave birth to a litter of 4. My current dog was my stud fee. My true romance story!

Yup, keep laughing! It helps a lot and is a great coping skill and gives the whole mess we're in with this PD a better perspective!

Cute story, by the way!

If I might add my version:

without humor we have no courage

without courage we have no strength

without strength we have no hope

without hope we have no peace.

glad to provide a little laughter. Pepsi lived to 16 and Olivia is now my constant companion. She provided a smile also: 2 weeks before she was born I had a dream. This little pup trotted up to me sat down, and with an attitude she has to this day said,"Hello, my name is Olivia". I'm willing to believe anything until it proves to be true or not true. I thought ; that was not among the names I was considering, but it's a great name and she just might have that power, so Olivia she is and it fits her. She was momma's little helper. She rode herd on her 3 brothers, scolding them if they soiled their nest. She is bright and smart and learns quickly when she wants to. She refuses to obey the commands she does not like. My trsiner says she has never seen or worked with a dog who so clearly only does what SHE wants.

I've rambled on but if I judge by my experience, free time is something I have more of these days. Also you all ahve the power to turn me off!!
