I noticed that once in a while I get what I can only describe as a muscle twinge and then I feel like my leg is going to give out and I may fall. Is this typical?

yep. I have the same prob. With me it is dyskinesia and my right leg starts to misbehave and I have trouble controlling it. Goes with the territory.

My husband has PD and he has this problem alot. He says he gets the muscle twinge and then his leg feels like Jello. He does not have dyskinesia yet.
