Does anyone else experience panting as a symptom of Parkinson's? Panting, small quick breaths that happens when I experience anxiety. What to do to control this?

Panting...
I had a significant period of breathing problems that seemed to be the freezing of my diaphragm which resembles a panic attack. The breathing technique that is effective is called 4-7-8: breathe in (nose) 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, exhale (mouth) 8 seconds. Continue as needed... please check with your doctor first!
Hi, check out deep breathing exercise onlineI do this whenever I experiece wearing off anxiety, which involves shortness of breath or panting.
Yes, my HWP is having that issue. Seems to be as his C/L is wearing off. He’s been thoroughly checked for other things - heart, lungs, etc., by our doc (who is a board-certified cardiologist). Most recently we saw an ENT who has recommended a nasal spray each evening. Seems to be helping. You will need to work with your doc to rule out the scarier things first. Watch your C/L dosing. Good luck!
Yes, but not related to anxiety. My primary care physician called it tachypneic breathing (rapid').My pulmonologist says it is a neuromuscular problem and my MDS has referred me to a neuromuscular neurologist for that and other issues.
Sometimes it hurts to inhale .
I experience the urge to hyperventilate sometimes after retiring in the evening before sleep. Intentional slowing down breathing seems to help.
i had panting (when off, but also when On) when my autonomous system was messed up.My neuro told that any autonomous system problem is due to meds intoxication (too much) and its metabolites that accumulate in the body and must cleaned up to solve.
You can try with meds reduction, fast walking (to pump toxins away thru the lymphatic system), cold showers, fast (from 16 hours to days), gluthatione IM or even B1 IM, wash out (meds stop) for 12 or 24 hours (not for all and not without assistance)
