Hello Y’all, I hope you all can help. I have been searching the post for hours, then I said why don’t I just ask. So, What is the dosage of green tea extract. I purchased Mucuna powder from Banyan botanicals. Also I have noticed that some use ashwagandha, what is the dosage. I Will be taking 1/2tsp twice a day as recommended. Also should it be taken at the same time as the Mucuna Thanks

I am not aware of any nonprescription substance that replaces carbidopa.

Doesn’t mucuna do that..

No. The mucuna replaces only the levadopa.

Ashwagandha is also known as withania somnifera. Another member found that it is synergistic with mucuna. Find the link to his research on this link:

I use Swanson's "Ultimate Ashwagandha" and just follow the label directions of 2 capsules/day.

Hi Bowling55: I use GNC Ashwaganda Extract. I take just one 470mg capsule at bedtime to help with sleep. At times I've felt it was very effective, now that I've been using it for a while and some additional factors are contributing to insomnia, I'm not so sure -- but I'm still taking it. I do know that it doesn't interfere with my levodopa dose. (I don't use Mucuna so I can't speak to that.)
