Madopar VS Sinemet

My MDS decided to switch me to Madopar after my 5yrs horrible experiences (side effects) with various grades of Sinemet.

He is aware that Zandopa (a brand of Mucuna) gives me far better relief (based on my testimony) than the Sinemet. Hence, he doesn't have any issue with my mucuna usage and even prescribed me entacapone to be used with it sometimes last year.

My Neurologist has given up on me because of my insistence of not increasing my sinemet's dosage and doesn't buy the mucuna's success story.

My question is: Is madopar really better than Sinemet and what are its benefits/side effects?

I find them the same. One neuro put me on sinamet and the next moved me to madapor because it is easier to break into quarters and I was taking s very low dose.

Everyone is different.

I found out that Madopar doesn't cause me to be fatigued nor sleepy, which happens to be the problems I had with Sinemet.

After much trials, I'm now on a combo of 50/12.5mg Madopar and Zandopa solution every 3 hours btw 6a.m and 9p.m on each day. I do experience relief after 30mins with honeymoon period of 30mins - 1hr within any 3hrs window.

Everyday, the Zandopa solution is made by mixing 2 scopes of Zandopa powder and 1litre of green tea liquid into my waterbotttle from which I take a sip from anytime I decided to take the combo.

It's not Eldorado yet
