Has anyone had experience with Symprove probiotic or Atremoplus, we know a PWP taking the latter and is having great results, also very good reviews on livebetterwith parkinsons.com. My hubby would really like to try one or the other, the cost is very expensive, which we don't mind if it would help his condition. Any comments on this would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance

Atremoplus looks like an interesting product. Apparently one dose (two scoops) of the product contains 100mg of L-dopa which seems like a low dosage, compared to how much L-dopa I'm taking. Perhaps there is something else in it that makes it so effective. You are right about it being expensive, at the minimum dose of two scoops a day a bottle lasts 15 days.
Dstewart - I started OH on Symprove after hearing about it on the recent Radio 4 programme ‘Inside Health’. Too early to tell if it is going to help but so far there doesn’t seem to be any negative effects. He has stopped drooling and his stools have improved. Mobility is marginally better and would be ok but for his balance - he suffers with intermittent dizziness.
It seemed expensive but there is a three months supply so it isn’t too bad.
