Interesting… I searched it on Amazon and found it as a skin whitener powder to be added to skin cream. I don’t see one that would be ingested which I think we would want.

I saw the same thing. Kind of put me off. I’m white enough. This study is Chinese.

They refer to it as "pharma grade" GMO free, but below that they say "cosmetic grade"?

An important point to keep in mind regarding this study is that it is not a human study and it is basically saying that Alpha Arbutin is a potent enough antioxidant to have a positive effect in a rotenone model of PD, but there are other more potent antioxidants that are cheaper and more readily available that can probably do the same or better in this rotenone PD model and they have more studies behind them to elaborate a good safety profile as well.
