Anyone taking Apokyn?

I was diagnosed over 19 years ago. I have been on Stalevo for years. Just went from 6x to 7x a day. I have had DBS Surgery. I have done remarkably well. but I have fought the fight with everything I have in me. I exercise (Rock Steady Boxing). I am 70 yrs old and have Pretty incredible biceps for an old broad. I am investigating Apokyn and trying to get a reasonable copay. I'd love to hear from others about their experience with this drug.

I have tried Apokyn and found it effective, but difficult to give myself the injection. However, I am now participating in a clinical trial of a sub!lingual dissolving tab of apomorphine which is easy to administer and as effective in providing immediate relief. We are in Phase III.

I have a friend that is using Apokyn & he really likes it. Quickly takes affect & lasts for about 2-3 hrs. I have Inbrija, but haven't tried it yet.
