We moved in on January 16th 2019 which happens to be ny 65th birthday. Now all i need to do is build a 12 ft dinning room table. It will be rustic and have 4 benches and 2 chairs. I will post a image when it is finished. The best thing i like about the living space is the shower. It is 5 feet by 5 feet aand the tile is 8 feet high.

Of course i like the shop the best of all. It is 1900 square ft and the ceiling is about 22 feet high. It has heat and ac so i can be used year round. I aways wanted a shop i could use to build things and to teach my children and grand babies as much as possible about cars and tools and to use them safely and correctly. My son has learned a lot and i hope he passes it down to his childern. Reparing things and bulding things is becomeing a thing of the past.

all it needs is a set of hand rails on steps leading down to the garage! Remember-safety first!

Wow, you did it! Was there ever any doubt?

Yup, building from the bottom up is becoming a thing of the past. My dad (WW2 Vet) always did all his own repairs around the house and on the car(s). He was mesmerized by the Prius, but he would NOT buy one because he said he would NOT be able to repair it. He died when he was about 92, March, 2010. With my inheritance and in memory I bought me a Prius.

Go go with your goal to teach the family around you.

Bailey, thanks for sharing this inspiration with us. For me, this has helped me to realize that I can still do and get things done, after a diagnosis of PD! Sometimes, apathy sets in, and I am not as productive as I probably could be. I try to think like, I have PD, but it doesn't have me. Sometimes, I lose out and give in. You, on the other hand, are such an inspiration to me, with your determined spirit and fortitude, to build this fantastic home for you, and yours, and have a great shop where you can teach the younger generations, on learning practical fixes to cars etc. Thanks again and enjoy life! Each day is precious.

I live in spacious South Africa, Andre, in a small cottage/flat in a retirement village. Couldn't swing a cat, either-- but wouldn't want to, truth be told! !!! 🐱 🙂
